Bekker is arguably the best villain in the Lucas Davenport series, women love the character, don't ask. lets just say that if Davenport were Batman, then Bekker is his Joker - one sick MoFo. it took me forevber to get through it, mostly because i spent my attention elsewhere and i'd put the book down for weeks at a time. don't let this foll ya, though, this is a good "beach/summer" book, formulaic but fun.caution, though, this is the second book in a two book character run. should be read as EYES OF PREY/ SILENT PREY for best result.
