"To help underserved students in the Philippines get ready for school, Verizon employees in New Jersey, Georgia, Pennsylvania and California will assemble 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies and basic hygiene items to help children stay healthy and stay in school. The employees will do this over the next few weeks, according to Alicia Gentile, Tierney on behalf of Verizon Wireless."
